Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former political candidate, and also an anchor on television at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would quit the show in the month of May 2021 in order to launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has made guest appearances on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that she owes her passion for politics due to the reality that she became a mom in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able to be able to watch the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She was able to see the effect it had on residents of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international influence of US politics. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee that is dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
